My hubby & I traveled to North Lake Tahoe this weekend. We headed out on Friday and got there semi late. We left later than planned, then stopped for longer than planned...but who cares! It was just us and no kids and no plans on Friday night anyways, so YAY for being on our own with no schedule!!! We spent the 2 nights in a rustic mountain themed hotel room @ The Parkside Inn at Incline Village. The hotel had an indoor pool & spa, plus a steamy redwood sauna.
Saturday we attended a wedding @ Sand Harbor. It was snowing off and on Friday night...and Saturday it looked like THIS....
Following the wedding and a brief stop at our hotel to changes shoes, we attended a gorgeous indoor reception @ The Chateau in Incline Village. We spent the evening looking down the Championship golf course....towards the lake and then the snowy mountains.
Sunday morning we attended a brunch at the bride parents home in Olympic Valley/Alpine Meadows. Yummy food, snowballs, sledding and views of THIS....
Yeah...just 3 minutes away Alpine Meadows Resort is OPEN.
Theres 170" of ski-able snow....
But MORE like 25-30ft in places....like here, where Jesse & I took our pictures.

We had SO much fun!
You are crazy wearing your flip-flops in the snow missy! I am so glad you and Jesse had a good time together. Only to come home for one day and take off again! It was a good week! And I get to see you in hours again. Grr. I need to sleep and I am not tired...
