Stake Conference Funny

This weekend was our stake conference for church. It was amazing...but thats another subject.

I sang in the combined choir, which consisted of our ward (Marysville) & the Loma Rica ward, on Saturday night at the Adult Session. 

Choosing shoes is hard for me. I have a pretty plentiful amount of black heels. Close toed, open toed, blah blah blah. Then they have to sort of match. Then they have to get along with my knee.

I wanted to be tall in the choir loft...oh and heels make me stand up straighter & suck in my tummy. 

So I chose the shoes below. 

They took me from my measly 5'6" tall to almost a whopping 5'10"

I got a leg cramp the 3rd time the choir stood up to sing. Thanks to these gorgeous girls:

Sunday was general session...meaning we come with children in tow. 

Since there was an Apostle speaking (plus a member of the 70) we were there VERY early compared to normal. I knew that the sheer amount of time we'd been there (sitting in one place) would be torture to the smallest of the bunch. So I knew we'd be walking around a bit...if possible.

So I wore these......

Just a BIT of a difference.
