Itchy!

During my battle with Poison Oak I've noticed I've been really REALLY itchy. Ok before you all say "DUH Sarah, you have Poison Oak...it ITCHES you dummy!" Bare with me.

I've been itchy in places I didn't have a rash. Itchy in places that never got Poison Oak. Its horrible. I'm still sort of itchy now. I chalked it up to my body just being frustrated and that it would go away soon. Then I realized I was taking steroids. I had read the side effects....not too closely, but  had read them. Itchiness was a side effect of the steroids!!! I've taken these steroids before, but in a smaller dose and don't remember ever having itchiness. But its the dosage thats doing it. Its SO much fun!!!

So seriously....I took steroids to get rid of the PO and the itchiness and rash it caused, only to be given MORE itchiness due to the steroids!!! You gotta be freaking kidding me. So Wednesday was my last day of steroids. I'm still itchy. Why you ask??? Because the steroids will remain in my body for up to another 11 days!!! Yay me.

I'll let you all know when I stop scratching. For now I'm just happy I have my eyeballs back to normal. I can see again and wear eye makeup. Woo Hoo for being girly!!!
