Some of my rashy spots were on places that were less desirable. Aka...my underwire bra line. Its still there and a few other small spots. But when it gets to itching so bad that I'd like to crawl out of my skin...or rip off a body part, I can jump in the shower and scrub this on and rinse off with cool water. Its great!
If I had know I was even exposed and washed my whole body with this upon returning home...I might not have had issues to begin with. Other than re-exposure. Ugh....another story.
Don't put hydrocortisone on your cheeks, eye lids or even thin sensitive skin near your chest. Just a warning. To be honest, it was the least helpful thing (anywhere on my body) during my now 3 week battle with poison oak.
Cornstarch is amazing! Yeah I'll have to add to that story, but not now. Just remember that nice spot that got rubbed a lot.
You poor thing! Tecnu saved us too. The extreme version wasn't out yet I don't think but we used the wash, itch gel & their cornstarch lotion. They are expensive products but really work. Glad you are doing better & I hope it completely clears up soon!
