As we were getting ready to leave this morning I heard my hubby say "oh crud!" all the sudden. It wasn't an obvious "the girls dumped nail polish on the carpet" type "oh crud" it was a bit less dramatic than that. My hubby had forgotten he promised his Deacons (12 & 13 yo boys) something special today. I whipped up a batch of these...Chewy Oreo Bars...during 2nd hour. (Shh, the baby needed to nurse too.) I'm so thankful for living 2 minutes away from the chapel.
The boys LOVED them. Just about as easy as Rice Krispie Treats, but with a nice chocolatey touch. They take about 5 whole minutes to make...and a few more to cool. Yummy!!!
